End-of-Season-Event 2026 – a special event in Nottwil
On June 11th Fineac exchanged their office chair for wheelchairs - literally!
This year’s season finale took us to the Swiss Paraplegic Centre in Nottwil. After an inspiring guided tour of the facility, where we gained fascinating insights into its medical, therapeutic, and sports programs, the real highlight awaited us in the sports hall: wheelchair basketball led by Nicolas Hausammann, former professional player and multiple-time Swiss champion.
It quickly became clear that what looks effortless from the sidelines requires remarkable skill, coordination, and teamwork. The Fineac team fought for every ball and even discovered a few hidden talents along the way. Beyond the fun and friendly competition, the experience offered a valuable new perspective and a deeper appreciation for the achievements of wheelchair athletes.
We rounded the day off with a barbecue at Caribbean Village in Nottwil where we were enjoying great food, lively conversations and an excellent atmosphere.
A big thank you to the Swiss Paraplegic Centre for the insightful tour and to Nicolas Hausammann for an unforgettable training session and truly memorable experience!
